THE MODEL was made from Coats Clark’s Red Heart Baby Wool and plastic crochet hook number 3. Two 2-ounce skeins in any desired color are sufficient for one soaker. You will also need 1¼ yards of ¼-inch ribbon in matching color and 10 small buttons.

COATS & CLARK’S RED HEART KNITTING WORSTED, 4 Ply, Art. E. 234 (4 oz. “Tangle-Proof” Pull-Out Skein): 1 skein of No. 679 Nile Green.

Aluminum or Plastic Crochet Hook No. G.

4 small buttons; ½ yard elastic, ½ inch wide.
 

Knitted Soaker (Shown at Left Bottom of Illustration)

 

FOUR 1-OUNCE skeins of Coats & Clark’s Red Heart Knitting Worsted are required to make this soaker. Use one pair of number 4 plastic knitting needles. You will need 1½ yards of ½-inch satin ribbon for waistband.
